My mission is to support all people in the highest and fullest expression of their Real Selves and Life Purposes. This involves supporting Self Discovery, Self Awareness, Self Acceptance, Self Understanding, Self Growth and Development, Self Expression, Self Esteem and Self Expansion. In short, I help people love themselves more fully so that they can love others more fully too.

Therapeutic Methods
I believe that each individual person is unique and will have a unique set of needs and "best ways to work." Together we learn how that particular person will best respond to therapy. For example, some people love to have homework; some would feel pressured by that requirement. Some people love to journal - which can be very helpful; for others, journaling would be almost disgusting. Some people want advice and problem solving, others most want to explore their inner world deeply, and to come to understand and accept themselves and others.
Some modalities people find useful are:
Guided Discovery Dialogues
Art/Writing/Journaling
Guided Imagery
Goal Setting & Strategizing
Voice Dialogue
Video Taping
Behavior Rehearsals
EMDR
Supervision I supervise therapist and intern therapists in various theories: Intersubjectivity Systems Theory (Stolorow et al), Self Psychology, Specificity Theory (Bacal), Attachment Theory, and Cognitive Theory.
Supervisees, please read the article by Robert Stolorow & Daphne Socharides, Affects and SelfObjects, chapter 5 in Psychoanalytic Treatment: An Intersubjective Approach.by Robert Stolorow, Bernard Brandchaft, and George Atwood, published in1987.
