Background Qualifications
Dr. Jane Bolton, Psy.D., MFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #MFT34888), and Contemporary Psychoanalyst, has been practicing psychotherapy since 1992.

She specializes in assisting people to live life fully. This is done by developing their authentic, effective, and joyful selves within their relationships. Usually this involves working with issues of self-esteem, self criticism, assertiveness, expressiveness, and communication.

Her clinical doctorate was awarded by The Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Los Angeles; her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Studies, is from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She received her undergraduate degree in Literature and Art History at Duke University. 

Dr. Bolton has national accreditation from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. A member of the American Psychological Association, she is also a member of  the American, the Californian, and the Los Angeles Associations of Marriage and Family Therapists.
